I am exhausted! I only worked until 1 o'clock today, but I had to be there at 8 AM instead of 9 or 10. I've gotten less than eight hours for the past four days in a row and it's starting to catch up with me. I'm seriously considering just lying down and taking a nap right now, even though I have a lot of free time after work for once. When I'm this tired, it's hard for me to enjoy myself doing anything anyway. I've been meaning to get back to Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden, but every time I pull it up I don't do anything and just end up watching Netflix or something.
That is one nice thing about having cash lying around, though. I've renewed my Netflix subscription and I've started rewatching Bob's Burgers and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. I've really missed having the opportunity to watch these anytime I want, so I'm really grateful that I can do that again. Eight dollars a month is a very small price to pay considering how many great shows Netflix has to offer. I might even finish up my rewatch of Cheers from like six months ago.
My next goal is to insure my vehicle again and then pay off the taxes on it. I'm not exactly sure how much that's going to cost me, but hopefully my first paycheck will be enough to cover it. Once I've got that done I'll be able to drive my own car instead of borrowing my uncle's Jeep. It's a nice vehicle, but the main selling point of my car is my stereo--it has Bluetooth so I can listen to music that's on my phone. I've been listening to my uncle's Sirius radio this past week which is okay, but I'd prefer to be able to listen to a playlist of my own devising. Eventually I'll be able to start listening to Pandora Radio again as well, but that'll have to wait until I get a new cell phone. I might consider doing that on the paycheck after next.
I do have other debts to settle, though. I have an AT&T bill that needs to be paid off. It's about $275 which is not a huge deal. More pressing concerns are my credit card bill and student loan payments. I think I owe something like $800 on my credit card (which I will never use again after it's been paid) and who even really knows on the student loans. I'd like to set up some sort of plan to eventually get those paid off as well, but they'll all have to wait until I have my vehicle and other necessities set up.
I really need to draw up a budget and figure this stuff out in more detail--and I'm sure I will do that pretty soon. For the time being though, I'm tired and want to take a nap. Alternatively, I'll just watch some Netflix/anime/whatever and play it by ear from there.
